What does a lay reader do?

When you are a lay reader you simply read the first reading at the service. Watch for the time in the service when the Bible reading occurs and walk up to the podium. The reading and the introduction are typed out and placed at the podium.

Please move to the first row near the podium during the opening song so that the pastor knows that you're present.

There are readings printed at the welcome center and on our website so you can read ahead of time.
