Peace Lutheran is officially a Stephen Ministry congregation!
We are committed to equip, train and mobilize our volunteer members to provide Christ-centered care and support to people experiencing many different kinds of life difficulties, including grief, divorce, cancer, unemployment, a spiritual crisis, infertility and other challenges.
We’re currently in the midst of our first training session for lay volunteers. When that finishes in February, they will be ready to walk alongside people who would like a listening ear and caring support.
Want to help? Here are some ways to get involved:
1. Pray. Give thanks to God for the life-transforming ministry that is ahead!
2. Watch a few videos to learn more: www.stephenministries.org/stories
3. Give thanks to God for those whom the Holy Spirit is inspiring to be our first Stephen Ministers.

Know someone who could use a Stephen Minister? If you, or someone in your life, is experiencing a difficult loss of any kind, we want to support you. We will not have trained Stephen Ministers in place until early 2018, but encourage you to contact Pastor Renae (or any of the pastoral staff) to connect for conversation and prayer.
Want more information? Contact Pastor Renae – email@example.com
You will continue to hear more and more about this important ministry in the months ahead.
