Serving our Neighbors

Necessities for Neighbors is our local outreach program to help our neighbors in need. The program was started  when we discovered that there are certain basic necessities that people cannot buy with Food Stamps. Each month, we distribute toilet paper, laundry detergent, feminine hygiene products, and diapers to over 300 local families.

First Sunday of each month, doors are open from 3-4pm.
If you are coming to receive necessities, please have an ID and something with your current address on it.

Ways to help

  • Bring toilet paper or feminine hygiene products

  • Volunteer for Saturday morning set up at 9am the day before distribution

  • Volunteer for Sunday's distribution – greeter, registration, personal shoppers, and product specialists

Congregations in the Sioux Falls area can participate by collecting Necessities items and helping at a distribution. If your congregation would like to participate, Contact Jackie Bailey ( or 361-3683) or Pastor Chris Matson ( or 361-3683).

Everyone is welcome to be a part of Necessities for Neighbors, including families with children.
