Serve in Worship

Every weekend, dozens of people help make worship happen—lighting candles, greeting at the door, reading scripture, serving communion, and more. It's a meaningful way to take part in the life of our congregation, and it's a great way to get to know people.

No experience is needed—we'll show you everything you need to know. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, including confirmation students, families, and anyone looking for a way to get involved.

We're especially in need of help at the 9am and 10:10am services, but you're welcome to sign up for whatever service works best for you.

At Peace Lutheran, we don’t want our ministry to get “cabin-fever”, so we often go outside our walls to serve in the world. From feeding the hungry to mentoring elementary school students, we never know where the Holy Spirit will guide us.

The work of ministries can be seen close by and throughout the world - with Prayer Shawls, World Relief Quilts, and Peace Meals, we strive to care for both the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors.
