In Sioux Falls as it is in Heaven

The first thing Jesus taught his disciples wasn't a miracle—it was a prayer. "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." This fall at Peace, we're praying that prayer with a zip code attached: that God's will would be done right here—in these neighborhoods, among these neighbors.

That prayer has two halves. One is gratitude—noticing the countless ways Peace is already living this out, in ministry with children and youth, with adults and seniors, with neighbors on the margins. The other is courage—facing honestly what it takes to keep this congregation's doors open and its mission moving forward.

As you consider your 2027 pledge, we invite you to hold both halves together. Gratitude for all God has already done here, and courage for what the days ahead will ask of us. Pray it in worship. Pray it at your kitchen table. Pray it over your checkbook—and then join us in seeking God's will be done, in Sioux Falls as it is in heaven.
