PSALM 119 – a prayer for guidance 

When we place the scriptures in the hands of our children, we pray that God might bless them with the light of the Word to illuminate their pathways. We need this guidance and reassurance as adults, too. No matter what age you are in life, the Bible has wisdom for you to learn. Spend time in the Word, and God will guide and teach your pathways.

Let us pray: Direct us, Lord God, in all our doings with your most gracious favor, and extend to us your continual help; that in all our works begun, continued, and ended in you, we may glorify your holy name; and finally, by your mercy, bring us to everlasting life; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
